The Fiery Cross newspaper was the official publication of the United Klans of America (UKA), based out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The paper was founded by Robert M. Shelton and should not be confused for the better known 1922-1925 Indiana based newspaper by the same name. The earliest known issues dates to December 15, 1961 and is believed to have been published until October 1974.
